Step by step

To get started with the IO-Things portal site, you must first create an account. This account is used for authentication purposes and can be deleted at any time if desired.

Step 1 : accessing Io-Things platform

If you already have an account with IO-Things, simply enter your credentials to log in. Please note that your username is your email address, ensuring a unique identifier for each user and facilitating password recovery processes.

Creating an account

For new users, setting up an account is straightforward:

  1. Navigate to the portal at
  2. Below the login form, you will find the “Create new account” button. Click on this button to begin the registration process.

Step 2 : Choose a username

Your username does not have to be your real name, but it will be the name by which you are recognized by other users, should you choose to share your data with them. Your email address must be valid. Read and accept the privacy terms and click on “Create Account”

Step 3: Check email

You will receive an email inviting you to set a password. Select a strong password. The token for setting your password remains valid for 7 days. If you wish to set a new password after this period, you can use the “Forgot Password” option to receive a new email.
